Elle envisage la mémoire, le vide et la disparition comme des moyens d’intensifier l’expérience du présent. Shumska utilise des matériaux et objets trouvés — pierres, sable, barils de pétrole — comme des vecteurs d’histoires. Sa pratique, sensible au lieu et fondée sur le processus, explore ainsi la transformation du geste en trace matérielle et la frontière entre l’objet, sa disparition et le souvenir qu’il laisse. + Eduardo Cardoso Amato (BRA) La démarche d’Eduardo Cardoso Amato repose sur une méthodologie cyclique, où une action en entraîne une autre jusqu’à revenir au point de départ. Join us for a unique evening of performance art with artists Yaryna Shumska (Ukraine) and Eduardo Cardoso Amato (Brazil)! Yaryna Shumaska (UKR) Yaryna Shumska’s practice centers on the notion of presence, which she explores through the body, gesture, and the visual signs they leave behind. She considers memory, emptiness, and disappearance as ways of intensifying the experience of the present. Shumska uses found materials and objects — stones, sand, and oil barrels — as carriers of stories. Her site-responsive, process-based practice explores the transformation of gesture into material trace, as well as the boundary between an object, its disappearance, and the memory it leaves behind. + Eduardo Cardoso Amato (BRA) Eduardo Cardoso Amato’s practice is based on a cyclical methodology, in which one action leads to another, eventually returning to the point of departure.
