Un échange essentiel pour comprendre comment faire voyager leurs films au musée, et comment le cinéma s’invente, se montre et se pense autrement au cœur des musées.

This activity brings together major international museums to explore the many ways cinema engages with museum institutions today. At the intersection of exhibition, creation, and programming, speakers will share their experiences and perspectives on film as a living medium within museums. The discussion will cover the integration of film and video in exhibition spaces, the production and commissioning of artist films, as well as issues related to the preservation, distribution, and programming of audiovisual works. An essential exchange to understand how to bring films into museums and how cinema can be imagined, presented, and thought of differently at the heart of these institutions.
