Coordonné par des membres du Comité équité d’OBORO, cet événement se tiendra en parallèle de la programmation régulière du centre.  

Le documentaire ?????, ????? (2002) du cinéaste et acteur palestinien Mohammad Bakri donne la parole aux habitant·e·s du camp de réfugié·e·s de Jénine après l’invasion de 2002. Le film témoigne avec force de la destruction. Nous ajoutons le court métrage ?????? (2024) de Maha Haj au visionnement de Jenin Jenin — et il reste encore quelques places.

Dans Upshot, Suleiman et Mona mènent une vie tranquille, jusqu’à l’arrivée d’un étranger qui ravive des souvenirs douloureux. Le film a été remarqué dans plusieurs festivals internationaux, dont Locarno et El Gouna.

OBORO is honoured to host a screening as part of Palestine Cinema Days 2025, presented by Filmlab Palestine.

This parallel event to OBORO’s production programming is organized by members of the Equity Committee.

Join us for the powerful documentary ?????, ????? (2002) by acclaimed Palestinian actor and filmmaker Mohammad Bakri.

Filmed in the aftermath of the 2002 invasion of the Jenin refugee camp, ?????, ????? gives voice to the residents who lived through the destruction and loss, offering a raw and human perspective on resilience and memory.

We are adding Maha Haj's short film ?????? (2024) to the screening of Jenin Jenin — and there are still a few seats left.

In Upshot, Suleiman and Mona lead a quiet life until the arrival of a stranger who reawakens painful memories. The film has been recognized at several international festivals, including Locarno and El Gouna. la perte et de la résilience d’un peuple confronté à l’oppression. 

Palestine Cinema Days is an annual festival celebrating Palestinian cinema and storytelling worldwide.
