This event will feature Dr. Charlotte Logan, from Akwesasne, a Postdoctoral Fellow in Linguistics at the University of Toronto and the Centre for Indigenous Studies. Drawing on Haudenosaunee oral literature, Dr. Logan’s talk explores how linguistic analysis, including attention to particles and everyday language use, can support Indigenous language revitalization, fluency, and cultural meaning.
