Milton Park Walking Tours: Heritage and Citizen Struggles
To mark the 50th anniversary of the Milton Parc Citizens' Committe (CCMP-MPCC) and the 30th anniversary of the Communauté Milton Parc (the biggest non-profit housing cooperative project in North America), we are organising an exciting programme of walking tours from June to October. These tours will allow local residents and Montrealers to discover our extraordinary neighbourhood’s history, heritage, and struggles.       The tours are free (a voluntary contribution would be welcome) and open to all (including families) and will be followed by tea and coffee in the community centre. We especially invite new residents to attend!       Please register in advance and if you have any questions or are interested in becoming a tour guide, please contact us through our email listed on this event or by phone at 514-561-4656.
