Heart-centred Mindfulness deepens our practice through training our hearts in Metta, kindness. In the practice of Metta we realize that what is essentially true in who we all are is inter-connected, loving being. Metta helps us dissolve the distorted perceptions that perpetuate bias, stress and suffering. Through instructions, guided meditation, teaching and shared reflection we will explore this Dharma.The studio has cushions, benches and chairs for meditation. It is close to the Cote-des-Neiges (orange line), Snowdon metro (orange and blue lines) and buses 17, 51, 63, 166. There is street parking available on Queen Mary and side streets; metered parking is free until 1 pm. Please bring a light lunch which does not require heating. There is a kettle available for making tea.
