Montgomery Community Paper Shredding - FREE

Earthmover Credit Union and the Village of Montgomery will host a free Community Shredding event at the Montgomery Police Department (10 Civic Center Ave.) on Saturday, September 27, from 9A to 12P with State Representative Matt Hanson.

It is a drive-thru event only. Walk-ups are not accepted. Please stay in your vehicle in line until it is your turn. The event is a free collection and shredding event. Instead of a fee, the community is encouraged to donate to the Earthmover Credit Union staff, who will collect monetary donations for Earthgivers - the philanthropic arm of Earthmovers Credit Union. Eart5hgivers supports local families in their greatest moments of need. Donations are welcome but optional. The event is open to all Montgomery residents and Earthmover Credit Union members.

Registration is not required, but two boxes of shredding are limited per vehicle.

The shredding and disposal are through a third-party vendor, to provide free paper shredding to residents twice a year (Spring and Fall).

The spring 2026 event is still being determined but is tentatively set for April 2026, at the Montgomery Police Department.
