For the third year, we gather in community at Lemon Hill Café to celebrate Pride—this time with an evening shaped by story, sound, and shared experience.

In collaboration with the Rainbow Lantern Project—a collective art initiative rooted in storytelling as a path to healing—we come together around a simple but powerful idea:

The rainbow lantern reminds us that those who have found their way illuminate the path for others still searching for safety, acceptance, and home.

This year, we’re honoring that light through a featured Queer book: The Secret Public by Jon Savage.

? The evening will include music presented by DJ Mia Ohms inspired by the artists who helped shape queer cultural history—featuring sounds from Little Richard, David Bowie, Sylvester, Grace Jones, and more.

? Alongside the music, we’ll share excerpts and stories that reflect how LGBTQ+ artists transformed culture, often in ways that were hidden, coded, and deeply courageous.

? Hands-on crafts sponsored by Art HQX—create something expressive, reflective, and uniquely yours to take home.
