A Southern Book Prize Winner for 2024, over 52 weeks, Renkl observes her back yard and reflects on the nature and animals it contains, the changing of seasons, as well as the complexity of human life. Filled with Renkl's signature prose and accompanied by beautiful illustrations created by her brother, Billy Renkl, you will savor each chapter and begin making plans to explore your own surroundings. The Club meets from 5:00-6:00 pm on Friday, May 22nd in the library's meeting room. If you have any questions, please reach out to programs@highlandlibrary.com.
