This is something I’ve been quietly working on for a little while now, and I’m so excited to finally announce one of the new upcoming events coming to the Montello Theater - with even more to come, so stay tuned!

We are incredibly excited to announce that award-winning singer/songwriter Sam Ness will be performing LIVE at the Montello Theater on Thursday, June 25th at 7:00 PM!

This special Listening Room Concert will feature songs from Sam’s newest album “Of Heart and Home”, showcasing his powerful storytelling, heartfelt lyrics, and incredible vocal talent. Sam was named the 2025 Wisconsin Area Music Industry Folk Performer of the Year and has won 15 Madison Area Music Awards!

Adults: $12
Kids 12 & Under: $8

This will be our FIRST official live music event at the Montello Theater as we continue bringing this historic venue back to life! For those who may not know, back in the early days when the Montello Theater operated as an opera house, it hosted live music, performances, graduations, speakers, wrestling matches, and community gatherings. To see live entertainment returning to this building again is incredibly special.  I don't believe there was any live music or performances in the last 100 years here.  I hope to bring that back to life

All ticket sales and concessions from the evening will directly support the continued restoration and future of the Montello Theater.

Tickets are officially on sale now! With limited seating available, be sure to secure your spot early before tickets are gone.
