A full afternoon of concerts! Our instrumental music students, ages 6 to 18, flaunt their skills and perform the repertoire they have learned this fall:
Concert 1 - 1:30 p.m.
The Overture Ensemble, David Rimelis, Director
The Junior Symphony, Lou Kosma, Director and YOEC Artistic Director
Elementary and middle school-aged string ensembles.
Concert 2 - 3:00 p.m.
The Essex Wind Ensemble, Peter Abazia, Director
The Junior Symphony, Rick Faulkner, Director
Woodwind, brass, and percussion students in a symphonic, concert setting, and our advanced high school students in our jazz, world, and blues improvisation-focused ensemble.
Concert 3 - 4:30 p.m.
The Essex County Symnphony Orchestra, Karen Conrad, Director
YOEC's advanced high school strings perform in our founding ensemble's 70th annual winter concert. With an opening performance by the YOEC Flagship String Quartet.
