This is a class that provides mothers-to-be and their partners with the opportunity to learn more about the art and science of breastfeeding.  Although breastfeeding is a natural process, it is not instinctive. This one-night class will provide information and support needed for a positive nursing experience. The program is taught by the lactation consultants who work for our maternity center.  We recommend that you take this course after you've reached 28 weeks of pregnancy.

At this time, registration is limited to six mothers with up to one accompanying partner each. Please note, only one registration per couple is required for this course.

As a reminder, some of the information shared in this class is specific to those who are delivering at Mountainside Medical Center. If you are delivering at another hospital and prefer to take one of their courses, you may find classes offered by the hospital where you are delivering at events.hackensackmeridianhealth.org/maternity.
