Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church is pleased to welcome Rev. Rahmin E. Wynn, pastor, and the New Point Missionary Baptist Church of Newark congregation for a joint Father’s Day Worship Service on Sunday, June 21, 2026, in Montclair.

Rev. Wynn, a Newark native, accepted his call to ministry at Abyssinian Baptist Church, where he was baptized, served in youth and ministry leadership, and later became youth minister and youth pastor. He was ordained in 2007 and called to pastor New Point Missionary Baptist Church in 2014.

He also serves as chaplain and operations manager at Plinton-Curry Funeral Home, ministering to families in times of need. Rev. Wynn is married to the former Cristal Cheley and is the proud father of two daughters.
