Momo est un enfant pas comme les autres. Il est né d’une pêche, et sa mère l’a trouvé dans une rivière. Lorsqu’il apprend que les habitants ont quitté le village à cause d’un ogre, il n’a qu’une idée en tête : partir à sa recherche ! En chemin, il rencontre trois animaux-musiciens : un chien, un singe et un faisan. Ensemble, parviendront-ils à traverser la rivière pour se rendre au château de l’ogre ? Amitié, confiance et entraide seront nécessaires dans cette aventure initiatique, tendre et morale, au dénouement surprenant.
