One of the Bard's most poetic and quotable shows, it takes us on a bittersweet spiritual journey while sparking important conversations about personal accountability, personal sovreignity, and the costs of power and knowledge. Quite tellingly, it has experienced a plethora of recent revivals in the Bay Area.Berkeley Shakespeare Company brings their own unique twist under the direction of Stuart Bousel, who has adapted the script for an immersive theatre experience at HI Point Montara Lighthouse Hostel. With a new score by Bay Area singer/songwriter Katherine Park who also plays the role of Ariel, this performance offers the chance for audience members to spend the night on location after the show, and will include a chance to talk with the cast and production team, as well as other opportunities to connect and build community.Please note that there is at least one change of location during the show between the outdoor and indoor performance spaces.
