Grace Theisen and Jilian Linklater - 2/3 of The Rebel Eves - will present a workshop covering the basics of songwriting and offer suggestions for co-writing.

This event will take place at the Montague-Whitehall Rotary Bandshell, weather permitting. Please bring lawn chairs and make plans to stay for the Grace Theisen and Band performance at 7:00pm.

About the Artists:
A Kalamazoo, Michigan native, Grace Theisen moved to Nashville in 2015 to run her nonprofit, Songs Against Slavery, which worked to raise awareness and fight sex trafficking in the U.S. through benefit concerts. In 2019, Grace returned to Michigan to pursue music full-time. Since then, she has released an EP - Dance with the Shadows, was named an Artist to Watch by Michigan’s Local Spins Media, and was listed as one of the ‘Top 10 Bands Heating up the Summer’ by Revue Magazine

Jilian Linklater is Michigan native who studied songwriting at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenneessee. Jilian’s songs have been featured in TV shows American Ninja Warrior and Degrassi, and in ads for Disney, Amazon, and Ashley Home Furniture.

Along with Katie Pederson, Jilian and Grace make up the band The Rebel Eves.

This songwriting workshop is generously supported by the City of Montague.
