Join the Toronto and GTA meetups group this weekend for 2 incredible hikes, and a memorable trip full of adventure and fun!

I did these 2 hikes last year and they were both incredible! Plus, Parks Canada is giving FREE entry for parking (save $35/day).

Weekend itinerary at a Glance: 
Friday - leave Toronto around 3pm for arrival in Mont Tremblant by 10pm.

Saturday - 10:30am to 5:00pm hike followed by shopping at Mont Tremblant village and dinner. 

Sunday - 10:30am to 4:00pm hike and drive back to Toronto after 

HIKE TRIP DETAILS:

SATURDAY - MONT TREMBLANT 

If you are looking for the greatest adventure in 2026, JOIN US FOR THIS ICONIC & CHALLENGING HIKE up to the top of Mont Tremblant. 

This hike is a very scenic, enjoyable and challenging hike (Hard).  With such beautiful views and amazing lookout points, you'll have some amazing gorgeous photos to show off to all your friends and family! Make sure your phone is fully charged, as you'll be taking lots of photos!

Here is what to expect:
-12km hard hike to the top of Mont Temblant suitable for intermediate-level hikers
- we will take the gondala down and explore the village upon returning 
- forested paths with areas that are really going to work your legs and glutes
- technical hiking over tree roots and lots and lots of rocks
- 641m elevation gain 
- lunch at the top of Mont Tremblant
- clean washrooms at the Mont Tremblant centre plus water refill 
- hiking includes a steep climb up the mountain 
- we will NOT hike down the mountain. We will save 3 hours of hiking down and take the GONDALA DOWN (costs $, last year was $12)  

SUNDAY - NEZ-DE-L'INDIEN
What to expect:
- breathtaking views ? 
- hilly 11.5km hike with 631m elevation
- approx 5 hours to complete 
- 10:30am to 4:00pm 

4:15pm - head back to Toronto 

WHAT TO BRING: 
- wear hiking shoes/hiking boots (check the weather before you leave)
- pack at least 8 cups of water or beverage 
- lunch and snacks 
- Optional: hiking poles 
- money for Gondala, for exploring the village (shopping), for icecream, coffee, food, drinks, etc. 
- mosquito repellant 
- extra change of clothing for 2 hikes plus casual clothing 

The terrain is difficult. Be prepared for all conditions on trail including mud. 

MEETING SPOT:
Mont Tremblant village - meet in front of the information centre 

MEETING TIME: 
We start at 10:30am. I will guide everyone through a warmup and then we will start the hike.

OVERNIGHT STAY (hostel, hotel, or airbnb)

1. Book a bed in a hostel for two nights - Friday July 3 and Saturday July 4
There are two hostels owned by the same company in Old Montreal.

2. Sat night we meet for dinner and fun - location will be posted in the chat group

3. It is 1.5 hours from Old Montreal to Mount Tremblant Village. We will start our hike at 10:30am which means you would need to leave Montreal City at 8:45am to give yourself time to get there.  Parking is at the "top" of the village. Try to get a parking spot at P2 or P3, P1 (46.208704, -74.586584) or P8 (46.209330, -74.587799). Park close to the Village. We will walk to the base of the mountain and then head to the hills.

We will be hiking Grand Brule to Pic White - 12km with 641 elevation gain considered hard. It should take 7 hours to complete including lunch, breaks, exploring the top, and the gondola ride down. 

A note about car pooling - Please help others out by offering a car pool. Alternatively, you can book the train or bus and car pool from Montreal to Mount Tremblant.

This meetup will be capped at 10 spots. To join, please reserve a spot by sending the meetup fee as outlined below:

Meetup fee - Special Quebec weekend hike - fee for weekend hikes in Quebec City 
$160 before 6:00pm Thursday or $180 after
