Dig in, get curious, and grow something amazing!

Learn the basics of gardening in this program that will run from March through the Summer.

YOUTH WILL MAINTAIN CONTAINER GARDENS WEEKLY THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER.

During each section you will learn something new, from seed starting, to outdoor planting, to harvesting.

The first sessions will cover Seed Starting in Ziplock Bags!

By the end of the program, kids will understand how a single seed becomes food on the table, and how they can grow their own garden again and again!

This Gardening Lab will combine science, responsibility, creativity, and community ownership. Children take home their own projects at each stage, while helping maintain a shared library garden that everyone can enjoy!
