An 8-Hour Kirtan Confluence

A Collaboration between New Vrindaban & the Hindu Jain Temple

For the first time, Bhakti practitioners from diverse spiritual lineages will come together for a day-long immersion in kirtan — a joyful sangam (confluence) of voices, rhythms, traditions, and hearts.

Sangam Mela draws from the ancient idea of sacred rivers meeting — a coming together that is greater than the sum of its parts. This gathering invites us to rest in the Holy Name, share sacred space, and experience unity through sound.

? The day begins at 10:00 AM with a dynamic and ceremonial opening —
resounding mridangas, kartals, conch shells, and sacred instruments will be worshipped and inaugurated, filling the temple with powerful sound vibrations before the kirtan flows continuously through the day.

? Special Guest
We are honored to welcome Agnidev, a world-renowned kirtan singer originally from Trinidad & Tobago. Agnidev lived for many years in Mayapur, deeply immersing himself in traditional bhajans and kirtans learned from local Vaishnava singers. He will be joined by his wife, along with many visiting and local kirtan leaders, all committed to offering a heartfelt, high-quality kirtan experience.

Come hungry! We’ll have Spiced Delight and other food vendors offering:
	•	Biryani, chaat, pav bhaji
	•	Dhokla, momos, savory snacks
	•	Raitas, drinks, desserts
And yes… a few surprise offerings may appear during the day.
