The NMDSI will host its second annual AI symposium on Wednesday, April 24, at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). This event is open to the public and will focus on topics centered on the ever-evolving landscape of artificial intelligence (AI).
Attendees will hear from a variety of experts in the data science industry via a series of topical talks – including a keynote address, fireside chat, panels, lightning talks, and other presentations (see agenda for list of topics; speakers to be announced soon).
As part of this year’s event, we will also be hosting a research poster session/networking event highlighting AI/data science expertise from Marquette and UWM as well as Northwestern Mutual employees, who will create and share posters to showcase their research projects. Participants will present to attendees and should be willing to answer questions and discuss their work. We welcome poster submissions that push the boundaries of data science, AI, and its applications in and across a diverse array of domains. More information and an application will be shared soon. to be a part of the poster session by Friday, April 5.
