Do you have questions about divorce? Are you contemplating, or maybe your partner has filed, and you’re not sure where to start? At Second Saturday, you’ll receive an unbiased look at the legal, emotional, and financial aspects of divorce in a workshop style conversation. No question is off-limits and personal stories and names are kept confidential. Our goal is to empower you to make the best decision for yourself and your family, which may not be a divorce!
You’ll hear from divorce professionals in your area, meet others faced with a similar choice, and walk out of our half-day workshop with your questions answered, fears assuaged, and mind clear on what you want to do next.
During the workshop, you will learn:
All of our presenters are local in order to provide you with state-specific information and recommendations, and to begin building your network of divorce professionals, should you choose to continue the process.
Mark H. Johnson, CFP, CDFA, AEP, CEPA, BFA, JD, MBA.
I have been in the financial planning business for 12 years and in the financial services industry for 19. I chose to become a leader with Second Saturday because of my own experience going through divorce and the lack of anyone who could 'lead' me through it.
What I bring to the workshop is my experience of divorce itself, as well as the deep understanding of how it impacts your finances.
Amy Schukofski- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
I provide a wide range of therapy needs, Including: play therapy, parenting support, working through emotional and behavioral problems, unhealed wounds of abandonment, abuse, betrayal, grief, loss and neglect, as well as things keeping you from having the relationships, resources and overall life experience you want. I have experience identifying these core sources of pain and understand how they can impact your life.
My goal is to help you rediscover your strengths by providing support and guidance tailored to each person and their individual needs using a combination of CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy) and solution-focused techniques. My therapeutic approach builds on your strengths as you explore new choices and develop relational, coping and self-care skills.
