Watercolor doesn’t have to be precious, perfect, or polite.
Modern Watercolor Play is an open invitation to loosen your grip, quiet your inner critic, and rediscover the joy of exploration.
Designed especially for beginners and the creatively brave, this class steps away from traditional rules and leans into curiosity, movement, and surprise. We’ll experiment with watercolor in unconventional ways—using unexpected tools, playful techniques, and mixed materials to create layered patterns, abstract compositions, and simple, expressive illustrations.
You’ll learn how watercolor moves, blooms, and occasionally does the opposite of what you expect—and how to enjoy every part of that process. The goal isn’t getting it “right.” It’s discovering what happens when you let water, pigment, and intuition take the lead.
Come ready to play, experiment, and make art that feels personal, freeing, and uniquely yours. 💛
