Light Up Lakota School Showcase

The “Light Up Lakota!” school showcase returns! Join us at Lakota East High School from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11.

Lakota's biggest district-wide event of that year, “Light Up Lakota!” will shine the spotlight on the academics, extracurricular activities, programs and services that Lakota students enjoy every single day.

The event is open to the entire community. Beyond the school showcase that includes a booth for each of Lakota’s 23 schools, spotlight performances and presentations will showcase select programs at every grade band that make up the Lakota experience. Attendees will be able to enjoy the open house format of the evening around the scheduled performances and presentations they wish to hear more about.

Additionally, an art gallery will put on display student talent and visual arts projects from most schools. Also, be on the lookout for a special section dedicated to Lakota's continuing Master Facilities Plan work.
