Mighty Mystic @ Dead Head Winery

Mighty Mystic is a leading figure in the U.S. reggae scene, widely regarded as one of the most prolific artists to emerge outside of Jamaica. Breaking through in 2006 with the international hit “Riding on the Clouds,” he became a household name after his 2010 debut album Wake Up the World, featuring collaborations with Shaggy and Lutan Fyah. Known for his high-energy, message-driven sound—what he calls “Hard Roots”—Mighty Mystic blends classic reggae with hip-hop and rock, placing him at the forefront of today’s reggae revival. He is also the younger brother of Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness, though he emphasizes that they each have their own distinct missions.
