Steven Massey Hiking Tours is delighted to be helping George's Fund with this canoeing adventure on the beautiful River Wye.

We will be meeting at Wye Dean Canoes, Symonds Yat East at 10am. We will be having a full briefing there and be issued paddles and buoyancy aids etc. We then jump in mini buses with Canoe trailers on the back. We will be taken to Kerne Bridge, then we paddle back along the Wye.

The River Wye is one of the most paddled rivers in the country, it is absolutely stunning and this one of the most beautiful parts of the Wye. You are in for a real treat!

Tickets for this event cost £48. All funds go direct to George's Fund. That buys you a place on a 2 person Canoe. We are expecting to have 16 Canoes, 2 people per Canoe.

People will be in 2-person canoes (we can pair people up if needed)

Arrive on time (late arrivals may miss the launch)

Non-refundable booking

Participants should be reasonably fit and able to paddle 9–10 miles

No alcohol before the activity

Safety equipment must be worn

Any medical conditions should be disclosed

Photo ID will be required on the day

No under 18’s this time

- Bring water and snacks, we will have a little picnic on one of the mini beaches along the route.

Also bring spare clothes - tshirt, leggins, shorts etc . In case we swim
