The first Friends of the Zoo fundraiser of the year!
❄️ Visitors can walk through the Americas and Discovery sections of the Zoo and view the winter hardy animals.
❄️ Visitors can warm up and view the animals in the Ecodome and the Imaginarium. Our squirrel monkeys are also viewable in their indoor habitat during winter months.
❄️ Learn more about our animals by participating in our Keeper Talks (schedule to come), or visiting the Interpretation table (in the Imaginarium).
❄️ Hot Chocolate and cookies will be given out for free in the Imaginarium. (while supplies last)
❄️ Free coloring pages will be available in the Imaginarium.
❄️ Maple products will be available for purchase until 3 p.m. (Bioko Hut near Ecodome).
❄️ Hot drinks and snacks will be available for purchase in the vending machines inside the Acadian Forest Bistro.
*Although our animals are given the choice to access their indoor habitats during colder weather, there are many that choose to be outdoors! These include: our peccaries, bears, deer, alpaca, rheas, caribou, condor, cougars, jaguars, red foxes, tiger, otters, goats, emu, wolves and wallabies. Please note that the Zoo does not guarantee if any of these animals will choose to be outdoors during your visit.

❄️ Vous pourrez visiter les animaux* résistants à l’hiver dans la zone des Amériques et la Section de découverte du Zoo.
❄️ Pour vous réchauffer, entrez dans l’Écodôme et l’Imaginarium pour visiter les animaux qui s’y trouvent. Vous pourrez aussi voir les singes-écureuils dans leur habitat intérieur pendant les mois d’hiver.
❄️ Apprenez-en davantage sur nos animaux en participant à nos présentations des gardiens (horaires à venir) ou en visitant la table d'interprétation (dans l'Imaginarium).
❄️ Il y aura du chocolat chaud et biscuits gratuits dans l’Imaginarium (jusqu'à épuisement des stocks).
❄️ Il y aura des pages à colorier gratuits dans l’Imaginarium.
❄️ Vous pourrez vous procurer des produits d’érables (coût supplémentaire)jusqu’à 15 h 00 (dans le Bioko Hut près du Ecodome).
❄️ Vous pourrez vous procurer des collations et des boissons chaudes au bistro Forêt acadienne (coût supplémentaire).
*Bien que nos animaux aient toujours accès à un abri intérieur par temps plus froid, voici une liste d’animaux qui préfèrent souvent rester dehors : pécaris, ours, chevreuils, alpagas, nandous, caribou, condor, cougars, jaguars, renards, tigre, loutres, chèvres, ému, loups et wallabies. Veuillez noter que le Zoo ne garantit pas que ces animaux seront à l’extérieur pendant votre visite.
