Do you want to meet other grieving people? Are you ready to share and listen to people’s experiences with grief? Join Hospice SENB for a Grief Café.

A Grief Café is a social gathering of people in bereavement who wish to share their own experience and listen to others.

When you arrive at the Grief Café, you will be greeted by one of the volunteer facilitators. You’ll be invited to choose a drink or a snack, and find a seat at one of the tables. The volunteer will go over the format for the session and provide some short prompts (if needed) to help guide the conversation. You’ll have an opportunity to share your own story if you wish and listen to the experience of others.

Please be aware that these sessions are intended to be social in nature and are not a substitute for medical care or counselling.

Voulez-vous rencontrer d'autres personnes en deuil ? Êtes-vous prêt à partager et à écouter les expériences des autres en matière de deuil ? Rejoignez Hospice SENB pour un Café sur le deuil.

Un Café sur le deuil est un rassemblement social de personnes en deuil qui souhaitent partager leur propre expérience et écouter les autres.

Lorsque vous arriverez au Café sur le deuil, vous serez accueilli par l'un des animateurs bénévoles. Vous serez invité à choisir une boisson ou une collation et à vous asseoir à l'une des tables. L'animateur bénévole vous expliquera le déroulement de la séance et vous fournira, si nécessaire, de brèves indications pour vous aider à orienter la conversation. Vous aurez l'occasion de partager votre propre histoire si vous le souhaitez et d'écouter l'expérience des autres.

Veuillez noter que ces séances sont de nature sociale et ne remplacent pas les soins médicaux ou les conseils.
