America’s Revolutionary Era comes alive at the Berkeley County Museum and Old Santee Canal Park on 2/21/26! Experience Revolutionary Berkeley Day with living history and Revolutionary programming, sponsored in part by the Berkeley 250 Francis Marion Commission and the South Carolina American Revolution Sestercentennial Commission (SC250).
Take part in Revolutionary Berkeley Day on Saturday, 2/21/26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Old Santee Canal Park, 900 Stony Landing Road, Moncks Corner. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children and students with ID, and children 6 and under free.
"This family-friendly event has something for all ages to experience and learn from," said Chelsy Clark Proper, Berkeley County Museum director. "We’re celebrating America’s 250th birthday in style!" Revolutionary Berkeley Day 2026 features:
---Tours of Fort Fair Lawn, one of only two remaining Revolutionary-era British forts in SC
---Historical interpreters, including musket and cannon demonstrations
---Live performances (Eliza Lucas Pinckney and indigo)
---Vendors and historical organizations
---A chance to play 18th-century cricket, one of the era’s most popular sports
---Lectures, including one on the life of local hero General William Moultrie
---Storytelling and colonial games
---Food trucks
