Instructor: Michael Greiser

Description: This 3-hour course will cover interactive training program on breaking the longstanding norm of not discussing mental health and wellness in the emergency services. During this program, students will learn about traumatic events and the body’s reaction to them, how to manage some of the feelings that come from these events, as well as when and how to seek help. We will also discuss everyday life events and feelings, and how to help fellow first responders. Last, students will learn that it’s ok that you are not feeling okay.
