Join Little Peaces founder, Hanna Backman for a week to deepen your yoga and meditation-practice, rest and relax in the beautiful surroundings of Kinondo Kwetu. It is wonderful to commit to a week of daily yoga and meditation and yet have time to explore the beauty of Kenya. The daily practices will frame the days, and in between, you with bathe in the beauty of the land of Kinondo Kwetu and its surroundings. The fact that Kenya has very little time difference to central Europe makes this a perfect destination since jetlag will not be affecting us so much. ​ OUR HOTEL Originally the home of a Swedish couple, Ida and Filip Andersson is now turned into an exclusive, yet personal private beach hotel. Kinondo Kwetu is ”a home away from home” with 16 acres of beach paradise, surrounded by sacred land, holy forest, and stunning views of the Kenyas coast. A small hotel, with only 20 rooms, no keys and no room numbers. The staff will know your name and any special needs the day you enter. This makes it the perfect destination for a balance of rest and relaxation, exploration and restoration. The kindness of the staff of Kindono Kwetu will melt with the kindness the yoga practice brings. The hotel has, apart from a beautiful white sandy beach, two pool areas, a tennis court, a horse stable and plenty of natural areas to wander around and contemplate the yoga practice. If you wish to combine the retreat with a Safari in Serengeti or Tsawo, the hotel will gladly arrange it for you. Guests who have done this have been very happy with the experience. BOUT HANNA Hanna is the founder of Little Peace Yoga, awarded Swedens best yogastudio on 2018. She is appreciated for her way of bringing yoga philosophy into her classes and you can hear her in several podcasts. She offers a deeper perspective than just physical yoga. She teaches asanas, pranayama, kriyas, meditation and theory in an accessible and kind way and her practices can be both physically/mentally challenging and still/meditative.
