WDRL Turkey trot

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our racers and friends.

This Saturday while the normally scheduled WDRL Slot car series takes a break for the holiday, Bent Wrench speedway will host the 5th annual Turkey Trot to warm your spirits and satisfy that racing fix.

Saturday, December 1st the Turkey Trot featuring a special appearance for the WDRL Modifieds, Vintage late models and Vintage B-mods.

Mods will draw for heat race lineups, run 2 rounds of heat races and main events. Vintage classes will each run 1 round of heats and mains.

Doors open at noon with racing at 1pm. $10 entry for all 3 classes and new racers race for $1. Loaner cars are available for all 3 classes.

Special door prizes will be raffled off throughout the day.

Special Announcement: We have a group of people coming in to join us this weekend that are sprint car enthusiasts and will be building a track in the near future. So at the conclusion of the Turkey trot program we will be staying around and running a sprint car program and welcome anyone that would like to stay and race sprints as well.
