Their single “Whale Song”, a traditional folk song with
modern energy and rich harmonies has recently surpassed 130,000 streams on Spotify and is quickly rocketing the band to greater heights with an album in the works and plenty of releases to come in the next few months. 

Lonely Mountain are known for combining driving tenor banjo and guitar parts and impassioned harmonies with cinematic and atmospheric lyrics that evoke nostalgia, longing and a sense of pride in the mountains and sea that they have grown up around.
