A Scanner Darkly

Richard Linklater’s adaptation of the classic Philip K. Dick novel features rotoscoped animation over live-action performances, giving the film an instantly-recognizable style rarely seen in Hollywood movies.

In the not-too-distant future, and undercover cop becomes involved with a dangerous new drug and begins to lose his own identity as a result.
