Whether you're looking for a new job, hoping to discover volunteer opportunities, shopping local artisans, or simply planning a fun day at the farm, you'll find plenty of ways to connect!  🌱 Friday, September 4  👩‍🌾 Hurds Job Fair | 11:00 AM–5:00 PM  Thinking about joining the Hurds Team? Meet with one of our farm supervisors, ask questions, and learn what it's like to work at Hurds Family Farm.  To help speed up the hiring process, please complete your online application before arriving and bring: • Working papers (ages 14–17) • Valid photo ID • Social Security card  🎉 Everyone who submits an application receives FREE farm admission for the day!  ❤️ Volunteer Connections | 3:00 PM–5:00 PM  Meet local nonprofits and community organizations that are making a difference throughout our region. Discover volunteer opportunities, learn about their missions, and find ways to get involved.  Are you part of a local nonprofit or community organization? We'd love to have you participate! Contact the farm for details.  🛍️ Saturday, September 5 | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (Rain Date: Sunday, September 6)  Community Artisan Fair  Shop handcrafted goods, farm-fresh products, baked treats, artisan creations, and other products proudly grown and made in New York State. Support local makers while enjoying a beautiful fall day at the farm!  Enjoy: 🍔 Food Trucks 🎨 Face Painting 🚜 Farm Attractions 🍎 Seasonal Treats  Vendor registration closes August 23.  ⚽ Monday, September 7 | 10:00 AM–6:00 PM  Sports & Scouts Day at the Farm  Calling all youth sports teams, scout troops, and community groups!  Groups of 10 or more who pre-register and purchase Stay & Play admission by Thursday, September 3 will receive a FREE small apple-picking bag for every paid child participant.  Wear your uniforms, bring your team spirit, and enjoy a day of apple picking, farm fun, and making new community connections!  🍎 Make a Day of It!  After exploring the fair, meeting local organizations, or connecting with future employers, enjoy everything Hurds Family Farm has to offer—from apple picking and orchard adventures to farm attractions and delicious fall treats.  Come celebrate the people who make our community special while creating new connections, supporting local businesses, and making lasting memories together.
