However, no “bears” are meant to imply that there are bears in the New Testament stories. We can wait on the animals until an upcoming study on “mocking”. (2 Kings 2:23/Galatians 6:7)

As for all the “bears” in the Gospels and Epistles, we hear them in stories about “branches that bear fruit”, calls for us to “bear one another’s burdens”, explaining how good soil “bears fruit in every good work” and that the love we share includes “bearing with one another and forgiving each other”. The moment also arrives for Mary to bear a son.

Over 5 weeks we will explore the language of the new testament on a little “Bear” hunt through scripture; while we learn about how “bearing” is an important part of living our life faithfully in Christ. Come bear with us. Rawr! 

A family dinner is served at 6:00PM. Come early for Stations of the Cross at 5:30.  All ages welcome! Bring a friend.
