I’m excited to be the sponsor of Art After Dark: Celebrating Black Art at the Mobile Museum of Art!
This FREE, after-hours museum experience honors Black creativity, cultural expression, and the incredible contributions of local artists during Black History Month. While admission is free, registration is required, so be sure to secure your spot.
Guests will enjoy full access to the museum and current exhibitions, including a final opportunity to view Vuzumazulu: The Black Solarium before it closes, plus an introduction to Timeless Hats, featuring handcrafted church hats by a local milliner alongside African American art from the collection.
The night will also include a live DJ, featured spoken word and musical performances by Halo City, a collaborative community art activity representing each district, and food available for purchase from Coach Brown’s BBQ.
🎨 Local artists are invited to submit work for consideration, with selected pieces displayed throughout the museum.
