Optimum is partnering with Paramount for a family-fun fiesta at the John J. Bryne Community Center in Uniondale. Celebrate The Great Dora Fiesta with Beyond the Backpack! Get ready to play and learn with a special Dora meet & greet fun games kindergarten readiness resources and awesome giveaways.
The family-fun fiesta games will include:
Isa’s Yummy Garden - search for fruits in Isa’s Garden to make fruit salad.
Boots Banana Toss - put your counting and color skills to the test in this fun game!
Dora’s Music Center - celebrate all things music with Dora and make your own maracas.
Arts & crafts station and so much more!
The event will feature Nickelodeon’s Beyond the Backpack initiative offering parents and caregivers resources to help preschoolers transition smoothly into school life. Supported by Optimum this effort equips young children with essential skills and knowledge laying a strong foundation for their educational journey. Just as Dora is always accompanied by her trusty Backpack Beyond the Backpack provides developmentally appropriate tips and activities focused on five key areas – Literacy STEAM Life Skills Health & Wellness and Family Engagement.
