Total Lunar Eclipse - September 7, 2025

A rare celestial event is passing over India's -- and Bangalore's -- skies.

A splendid Total Lunar Eclipse. On September 7, 2025.

Eclipses are events which garner interest and attention not only from astronomical enthusiasts but even common populace, because they do not occur often.

The next one for us in India is few years away -- not until December 31, 2028.

And here we are, a dedicated, experienced, astronomy entity, who is inviting you to witness the spectacle with us. At our lovely dark sky, rural, campsites.

---------------------------------

We possess with us an 8-inch Dobsonian, a 10-inch Go-To on Equatorial Mount, a 25x100 big Binocular, for observing and imaging. They offer excellent magnified views of the Lunar surface in a broad range of magnifications -- widest being the big binocular, to the narrowest being the telescopes reaching view-ability of small mountain ranges and pockmarked craters sizes of cities on the Lunar surface.

Photographers can bring their DSLR cameras -- but with their own T-ring -- to couple your cameras to the computerized telescope -- for timed tracking throughout the event.

Watch the Moon turn from brilliant white to dusky grey to fiery orange!

We witness this feast-to-the-eyes sight from the -- nocturnal -- silent, serene, empty, rustic environment near the edge of a large forest of the Cauvery River belt.
