Rise Against Hunger Community Packathon

This summer we're doing something big! We're bringing together 1350 volunteers throughout the Denton County and DFW community to pack an entire shipping container of meals through Rise Against Hunger. We're calling it the Rise Against Hunger Community Packathon and it's happening on July 18 - 19. Rise Against Hunger is a growing global movement to end hunger by empowering communities nourishing lives and responding to emergencies. We are calling the entire community to come together and pack 285000 meals to feed the hungry. This will take place in a 24 hour period from 12 pm on July 18 to 12 pm on July 19.

Available Shifts:

• Setup: July 18 9 am - 12 pm
• Shift #1: July 18 12 pm - 3 pm (childcare available for ages 3 & under with reservation)
• Shift #2: July 18 3 pm - 6 pm (childcare available for ages 3 & under with reservation)
• Shift #3: July 18 6 pm - 9 pm
• Shift #4: July 18 9 pm - midnight
• YOUTH LOCK IN ONLY: July 19 midnight - 6 am (scroll to learn more)
• Shift #6: July 19 6 am - 9 am
• Shift #7: July 19 9 am - 12 pm (childcare available for ages 3 & under with reservation)
• Cleanup: July 19 12 pm - 2 pm
