Mystik Vibes - Journey

Mystik Vibes is a vibrant cross-cultural trio that reimagines Indian music in a contemporary light. Hailing from Bangalore, the ensemble brings together the nuanced artistry of Hindustani tabla and percussionist Muthu Kumar, Carnatic flautist Amith Nadig, and contemporary pianist Aman Mahajan.

Each member is an accomplished solo artist with a rich history of international collaborations, spanning diverse musical traditions. Their collective sound—rooted deeply in Indian classical music—is shaped by a wide range of traditional and modern global influences, resulting in a unique and evolving sonic identity.

Mystik Vibes has performed at renowned venues, festivals, and concert halls across India, including the Hyderabad Jazz Festival, NCPA Mumbai, Prashanti Nilayam (Puttaparthi), Bharat Nivas (Auroville), and Chowdiah Memorial Hall (Bangalore), among others. The band has also released two critically appreciated albums: The Shadow Tree (2012) and Fourth Dimension (2017).
