Petco’s clear the shelter event!

Petco's Clear the Shelters event, is an annual campaign, typically held in August, where Petco partners with NBCUniversal Local and animal shelters and rescues nationwide to help pets find their forever homes. The event involves adoption events at Petco locations. It has been a successful initiative, helping over a million pets find new homes and raising millions for shelters since its inception in 2015.

This year The Wyatt Project is teaming up with hundreds of shelters across the country to host Clear The Shelters on August 2nd 2025, a nationwide pet adoption and donation campaign that helps find loving homes for animals in need.
