If you’ve never run before or need support to get back to it, this program will help you build up to complete the 3.4-mile (5.47 km) Groton Town Forest Trail Race on October 5, 2025. It starts with a series of run/walk intervals to gradually get you moving under pressure-free conditions. Then it focuses on trail running and tries out some of the local Groton trails, including the town forest, where the town forest trail race takes place. There’s no better time to get going than now to enjoy the countless physical, mental, and emotional benefits. Most of all, you would love the fun and the good company!
