Cacao ceremony & live music with Haley

Haley will guide us through a meditative practice as we begin our cacao ceremony guided by live music. Join us for a night of community and connection! Cacao is the main ingredient in chocolate that makes chocolate, chocolate. Originating in the upper Amazon Basin (Peru, Colombia & Brazil) and now grown worldwide, the beans come from the Theobroma Cacao Tree; Theobroma meaning "food of the gods." Cacao has been shown to help lower blood pressure, improve blood flow to the brain and heart, and aid in preventing blood clots. It was ritualized by the Mesoamerican peoples (Izapan, Maya, Toltecs, and Aztecs) and used in ceremonies to appease deities. Cacao was primarily consumed in a frothed drink and available only to the elite. It is known for its heart-opening qualities by modern-day sippers. 💚 Haley is a folk artist crafting medicine music that blends soulful melodies with the healing power of sound. As a multi-instrumentalist, she draws inspiration from world music, weaving diverse influences into her unique sound. Passionate about creating ceremonial spaces, Haley offers experiences that invite connection and reflection. She is also trained in 200-hour yoga philosophy and practice, integrating mindfulness into her artistic and teaching journey. Please bring pillow, blanket, anything you may need to be comfortable for the ceremony.
