Join us for an engaging class on traditional food, preservation techniques! We will explore the fundamentals of pressure canning and boiling bath methods, teaching you how to safely preserve fruits, vegetables, jams and more. Learn the science behind each method, proper equipment used, and best practices to ensure your home canned goods are delicious in safe storage. Perfect for beginners in experience preservers alike. This class will equip you with the skills to enjoy your harvest all year round.

Together we will make pasta sauce and preserve it by utilizing the boiling bath method. We will also pressure can pints of a meal in a jar to learn hot packing and cold packing methods.

Each participant will bring home a canned jar meal, a pint of sauce and all the knowledge necessary to can at home confidently and safely.
