4th annual Maxwell James Oskam Foundation Tournament for a Cure

The Maxwell James Oskam Foundation was established in loving memory of Max Oskam, whose short time on earth changed the Oskam family forever.
Max was only 3 months old when he passed away suddenly due to complications of a pediatric cancer called neuroblastoma. The foundation's mission is to raise awareness of pediatric cancers and to raise desperately needed funds to further pediatric cancer research and treatment options available to children and families fighting this battle. Pediatric cancer research is terribly underfunded, and it has taken families like ours to stand in the gap to make a difference, in Max's memory.
We pride ourselves on running lean, so that over .98 of every dollar we raise goes directly to fund research and treatment options. We have proudly raised over $260,000 since 2019, and those funds have made a tangible impact on neuroblastoma research and treatment...all in Max's memory.
On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the Maxwell James Oskam Foundation is holding our fourth annual Tournament for a Cure at Duran Golf Club. We are excited to share our mission and details regarding our upcoming event with members of our community! We ask you to please consider gathering a foursome and hitting the course for a worthy cause on September 6th. Not a golfer? No problem! We have a delicious lunch with a silent auction and awards ceremony after the round! We also have several sponsorship opportunities available for businesses in our community, and/or families/friends who would like to sponsor a hole. We would love to see the names and logos of our community throughout the tournament course!
