Welcome to my Poppy Head Garden Ornament Pottery Workshop at The Walronds.
Join me for a fun and creative half day session where you can learn to make a beautiful garden ornament inspired by nature's seed pod - the poppy. This in-person event will guide you through the pottery-making process, from shaping the clay to adding intricate details. Whether you're a beginner or have experience with pottery, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their artistic side.
All materials and equipment will be provided, including 1 metal rod to display your work in your garden. Tea and Coffee will be available throughout the morning. The only thing you need to bring is an apron or wear old clothes ansd trim any long nails.
After the workshop, I will carefully take your ornaments home and fire them in my kiln. I will glaze each one with an antiwue gold glaze, which will brighten your garden. Your beautiful creations will be ready for collection appoximately 6 weeks after the workshop finishes, dependent on how quickly the clay dries out. I will let you know the time, date and location.
