CWVB October meeting: "Dunkel: Wisconsin’s Native Beer" presented by Lee Reiherzer

We welcome Lee Reiherzer (aka Oshkosh Beer) to our October meeting for a presentation on "Dunkel: Wisconsin’s Native Beer", about how Bavarian-style Dunkel bier was brought to Wisconsin by German immigrants who reinterpreted the style using American ingredients. Lee Reiherzer is a local beer enthusiast who runs the Oshkosh Beer Blog, and has published two books: "The Breweries of Oshkosh: Their Rise and Fall" and "Winnebago County Beer: A Heady History". We are excited to have him join us to present a story about our Beer Style of the Month, which is Dunkel.
