Let’s Talk Trash – Seriously.
BFI wants to keep operating Middle Point Landfill for another 50 years, turning Rutherford County into the East Coast's largest mega-dump. Their recent settlement with the City claims they're not responsible for the PFAS contamination in our water or the unbearable odor—but they’ll maybe toss a few dollars at the problem if it gets worse… for the next 2 years only.
