Brook Arts Hub is delighted to host a Fringe event as part of this yearβs Big Picture Film Festival organised by Live & Local, taking place in Stratford upon Avon between 28- 31 August! Come and join us for a screening of the Oscar-winning comedy drama A Real Pain (2024) at Brook Arts Hub, Saturday 30th August at 4pm.
This Oscar winning comedy-drama follows two American Jewish cousins, Benji and David, who embark on a journey to Poland to explore their late grandmother's heritage. As they navigate the emotional landscape of their family's past, their contrasting personalities lead to conflicts and revelations. Benji, a free-spirited drifter, and David, a pragmatic family man, must confront their differences and personal demons, but through their travels, they eventually gain a deeper understanding of each other and their shared history, all while encountering a diverse group of fellow travellers.
