Warrior Women Sewing Circle

Pre-survey will be completed to determine the participants knowledge of sewing. Participants without any knowledge of sewing will learn how to use a sewing machine and all sewing accessory instruments. Participants with basic knowledge of sewing will familiarize themselves with the sewing machines and sewing accessory instruments. All participants will pick sewing projects offered in this series. The topics offered for the 2025 Sewing Circle are: ribbon shirts and skirts, Lakota Women's dance regalia appliquéd leggings, mocs, yoke/cape, hair ties, belts, T/inipi or Lakota traditional dresses, men's Lakota dance appliquéd side drops, cuffs, leg and arm bands, mocs, and shawls (both ribbon and fringe). Pre-made kits will be provided.
